"The room was very nice. We had a short walk to the Maswik Food Court for great choices for breakfast. Pizza was good! Shuttle system made it easy to get around. Sunset from Mather Point showed a great change in colors across the canyon. "
Holiday Inn Resort The Squire at Grand Canyon by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Great location near the Grand Canyon! Had plenty of activities for kids to keep them happy after they were done hiking. We loved the s’mores and indoor pool/hot tub! Kids ate free. Dinner menus were somewhat limited. I’d prefer a few healthier/vegetarian options, but breakfast was great! Overall, a nice clean hotel with many conveniences!"
"Our 2 day stay at the Bright Angel Lodge in a historic cabin offered us an excellent location to access the Grand Canyon. The location was just steps from the rim trail and the panoramic views. While the cabin was small, it was well maintained with updated finishes. We didn’t realize there were 2 rooms per cabin, so you can have an adjoining door in your room. It is also not soundproof so we used a sound app to block out our neighbor’s voices. But, if traveling with children or friends this would be helpful. The staff was friendly and willing to help us utilize the village transportation to visit all the “must see” locations in the park. My husband and I thought it was a great location for a short canyon stay with close access to the Bright Angel Trail, Rim Trail, and several restaurant at the neighboring lodges."
"We had a fine stay but the price was extremely high for a property that is stuck in the 1970s. That said, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was strong."
"El Tovar provides perfect space for groups to gather and also find their own private time when desired. Location couldn’t be better for exploring the magical Grand Canyon from any vantage point. The free coffee in the mezzanine was a special treat as you can awaken on your own time as friends and family meander up in the morning. A wonderful place I hope to return to someday."
