"We booked last minute late at night after the our first accommodations were less than desirable and we were greeted and checked in promptly with great compassion. We travel with a service dog and everything was perfect. Breakfast was busy with lots of spring break travelers but they did a great job keeping up with cleaning and refilling the breakfast station. Overall very friendly and accommodating."

"Check-in and check-out process was easy. Staff was friendly. There was a mini-fridge and microwave in the room. It would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room, but parking was easy and it was a short drive to surrounding cities and Mammoth Cave National Park. It was a great budget place to shower and sleep after a long day of hiking and exploring."

"The room was fine. Nothing fancy but we weren’t looking for anything fancy. The floor had obvious water damage but that doesn’t matter and you could hear the bed springs. The worst part was the other guests that came in late with two cars. Obviously they had been drinking as they were talking loudly and banging their car doors and locking and unlocking the car doors making the horn honk again and again. When we arrived, the property looked nothing like the photos. The building was dark, run-down, and clearly not in operation. There were no lights on, no staff, and a sign on the door stating that the “Countryside Inn is not associated with OYO or the past owners” and that anyone who booked online would need to contact...

"If you move in and find a lot of bugs, I have a good method to get rid of them without having to do it by hand. You can catch the bugs in the trash can and flush them down the toilet. But it's difficult to flush the bug corpses out of the room's toilet."
