I arrived late due to being held up at work so called ahead, the chap on the phone was kind enough to wait 1hr30 past the check-in deadline for me to get there, thank you! Had only booked the single room for 1 night, while the room could be classed as a little snug it was nothing less than very comfortable. "Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Very friendly and courteous. Room was spacious and had air conditioning which was a welcome addition as we were there during a heatwave! We found the bed very hard and most uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean and with nice toiletries. I cannot recommend the food. The menu is quite small. The food is poorly prepared. My husband had chilli con carne which was clearly microwaved and quite bland. I had a Caesar salad which I could not eat as it was...
