Heldigvis ble vi tipset om en helt nydelig strand i nærheten. Maten var bra på restauranten. Fikk med oss nydelig solnedgang"

"Three nights here scheduled at last minute after a major travel change. The road out front is a three lane highway separated by a divider plus a bike lane. Typically this would be a nightmare for me but I asked the manager for a fan and she lent me one that was on the noisy side which was great for me. I’m a “white noise” guy and can’t sleep in silence. I don’t want to hear motorcycles racing at 2am either and there was a little of that but not a lot. I requested a corner unit in the back away...

"Ein tolles Hotel mit unglaublich nettem und zuvorkommendem Service! Die Bungalows sind groß, sauber und bieten durch den Abstand zueinander auch abends angenehme Ruhe. Das Frühstück ist riesig und sehr abwechslungsreich – für jeden etwas dabei. Der Pool ist groß und sehr gepflegt, und die direkte Lage am Strand von Khao Lak ist traumhaft. Einziger Nachteil: Durch die Strandlage ist man etwas abseits, Sehenswürdigkeiten erreicht man nur per Taxi oder selbst organisiert."

"Tucked away behind Moo 4, The Khao Lak Palm Hill Resort is a hidden gem. Don’t expect beachfront chain hotel luxury but do expect rustic charm and a warm, friendly welcome. Far enough away from the main road to be peaceful and tranquil but close enough to access everything that the area has to offer by way of shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. The hotel has 49 large rooms, all surrounding a lovely pool and with the forest as a backdrop. There wasn’t one day that we didn’t get a sunbed...
