"Very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Lobby is spacious and welcoming. Staff are friendly and helped with all our queries. Parking was ideal and well worth the price. The room had everything we could ever have needed and with a well appreciated balcony. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was spacious, with a shower to look forward to. "We stayed at Rafter's for our first night in Ireland, and it was a great start to the trip. The location was perfect, only about a five minute walk to Kilkenny Castle. Gerry was an awesome host, he made us feel so welcome and even invited my mother-in-law behind the bar to make an Irish coffee to compete with his. After dinner, we had a drink at the pub and there was live music; it only played until 9:30, so it didn't keep us from sleeping! The breakfast was included and there were many options,...

"We had a lovely one night stay recently for a wedding we were attending in the rivercourt hotel, it was amazing value for money. The man dealing with us on check in was so so kind and chatty, we had arranged early check in prior to our stay and this was absolutely no problem which was great. The rooms were spacious and the beds were so comfortable. Such a great stay we will definitely be back again. Denise & James. "
