This place is a family favorite that we return to again and again no matter the season. Friendly customer service, clean, nice breakfast, lots of room and good use of space. The decor, including the cool lamps, are icing on the cake. Of course we all love the indoor pool and hot tub.

We had a great stay at the Shutters hotel. The check in went smooth, the room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was well stocked with towels, clean, and the shower had great water pressure. The breakfast was excellent, with bacon, eggs, and waffles! Great location too.

Really nice hotel. Room was very clean, bed super comfortable. Staff friendly and courteous. Pool and hot tub clean and well maintained. Very close to beach, easy to climb stairs lead right to path through dunes. Breakfast was delicious, great variety of hot and easy to prepare items. Highly recommend!

We go to the OBX about twice a year and choose to stay here every time. The room is always spotless. Staff is friendly and helpful. My 15 year old grandson loved spending time in the exercise room. Pool and the hot tub are well maintained.Reasonably priced for all they offer. I like helping a locally owned business as opposed to a chain.
