"Great hotel but very noisy due to the train lines. "

"The rooms need an update. Dirty carpet and stained mattresses. Had a fire alarm go off at 2am, rushed out and not a single word from the staff no words of reassurance or explanation. The next day the water went out for the majority of the day. The water in the morning was boiling hot and was unable to shower or even wash my hands. Eventually the water just stopped. Not happy. I had to reach out to gain an explanation. The staff finally left a letter and did end up going door to door but that was many hours later and only after it was restored. I think communication needs to be prioritised going forward."

"Nice clean compact room, lovely view onto the street. The only slight issue was the mattress, a little tougher than expected but it wasn't a major issue."

"Wonderfully clean. Front desk was very attentive and efficient. They don't have their own parking but they validate for the garage down the block and you get a good discount. Location is right next to central train station and very walkable. Bartenders were great and offered great suggestions for things to do in Glasgow."

"In a room that slept 4 - 3 of us sharing (girls night away). Room was huge, with lovely king-size bed and a double sofa bed. Bathroom again massive! Check in quick and friendly. Room clean and lovely. Breakfast was delicious! Would recommend. Stay was for a show at the hydro and location is perfect, next to car-park and a stone throw away from the hydro."

"Hotel is in need of an update. The tv in our room had blown speakers, the hairdryer had a loose connection and only worked when held at a certain angle and the charger for the iPad which controls lights etc was faulty. Only one lift was in operation leading to long waits to get up and down from the room to the hotel lobby"
