"Actually pleasantly surprised! our room was at the rear in what looked like a collection of tin roofed huts :) but it proved to be very nice - certainly enough for our 1 night pre- ferry. Warm, functional, nice and clean, shower was good Pub doesn't do food so we walked into the town and had a delicious Thai meal at the Red Elephant- def recommended!!! Then came back to our last Irish Guinesses at the pub - again really good. The pub is quirky with a remarkable collection of old memorabilia....

"I would have liked information on how to check in and where prior to arrival. We ended up driving around and calling to find out what to do. We had tea and also dinner in the castle. It was excellent."
