"Although listed as a 4 star hotel, it is certainly not. I have stayed in many 3 star hotels which were far better. While convenient to Bundoran centre, it was a very average hotel. Beds were far too soft and the wifi was extremely poor. Breakfast was as one would expect for a 3 star hotel, but nothing special. OK for a one night stay but ....!"

"Wonderful stay at the Madden! Our sea view room was beautiful and the breakfast in the morning was exceptional. Very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable staff throughout the establishment. Would stay again for sure!"

"Really nice staff, beautiful property on the beach. It feels like stepping into the not too distant past with antique furniture in the lobby and rooms. The building is older so it is worn but the setting makes it feel magical. It is very family oriented but there is a bar on the first floor as well."

"Family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens). Great place, well kept and located close to city centre. Beds are comfortable. Highly recommend. Would stay here again!"

"Incredible location and view of the river. Easy walk to shops and pubs and then to Doorly park as well. The room was clean and comfortable, although we learned that we shouldn't keep the window open at night due to wildlife along the river, so the room got pretty hot. (But this has been an uncommonly hot summer, and a fan was provided.) I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay again."
