"This resort provides an authentic "forest" experience while at the same time making sure all one's needs are taken care of. Dining is surprisingly good (my husband is a gourmet chef so he should know) as is the service! We couldn't ask for more but got it thanks to the friendliness of the owners. They are ever present and offer great advice (as well as conversation) for a fulfilling experience. We were sincerely sad to leave and hope to return in the future..."

Gluten free delicious food, fresh from local farmers,water filtered and UV sterilized, we fished and cook prepared fish for us,owners have exceptional customer service, staff courteous and very prompt and note, secluded beach, long walks, felt like our private beach. All in all a 5 star experience . However : access not very easy and completely remote ( 5 miles from Puerto Jimenez), for us it was ideal since we wish to avoid crowds and mainstay touristic avenues. "Surfhouse pavones is located steps from the beach allowing several surf sessions a day. There is a cafe restaurant next door with unreal smoothies. A little market right up the street has it all. The rooms at the surfhouse were clean and the kitchen has everything including a view of pavones. A lot of woodwork and art at the surfhouse and plenty of room for surfboards. The owner is laid back, accommodating and knowledgeable to make the experience unforgettable."

"The view from absolutely everywhere is stunning. We had the chance to see a plethora of birds and monkeys from our little pool in our balcony. The drive there is a little challenging but the location makes it all worth it. Taking a shower indoor/outdoor is one of a lifetime experience. "
