"All furniture was outdated but, it was clean. I felt safe I was alone with my two kids. The lady checking us in was so, nice and quick check in. Gas stations close and food options. Loved the country feel. Im a city girl but, enjoy the country feel"

Route 66 nostalgia comes alive at the historic powerhouse museum and classic diners along Andy Devine Avenue. Grab your camera for sunrise hikes in the nearby Hualapai Mountains, where desert vistas and wildlife await just minutes from city centre.
Full of historic buildings and kitsch, plus photos ops created for this generation. Restaurants were good. Convenient location between Vegas and grand canyon South rim.

Great area. We went to Kingman after going to the West Rim Skywalk of the Grand Canyon. We also was continuing our Rt 66 trip. We nearly left the area before we realized the Powerhouse was on the suggested stops for Rt 66. It was wonderful.

Didn't know anything about Kingman before, but found it to have good food shopping, dining, gas, etc. choices. Great stopping place on a long trip! Would spend time in microbreweries and museums if more time was available.

I actually live here in Kingman (moved here almost three years ago, and found the area extremely peaceful). This quaint little town is very peaceful, and family oriented.
