It was clean, cosy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. 10 min walk into aviemore and 12 min drive to landmark adventure forest. The host communicted well, confirmed our booking with a personal text messge and contacted us on the day of arrival to ensure everything went smoothly. Excellent accommodation."

"The stay was fantastic, the property is very modern and extremely clean. It was ideal for the 7 days or so I stayed. I don’t have anything negative to say whatsoever! I would definitely stay again if I get the chance. Carol was so friendly and helpful with property instructions! "

"This was our first time staying in this area and I’m so glad we did! The lodge is beautiful, situated overlooking a wee loch and hills. It was bright, spacious, clean and well equipped. Each bedroom has it’s own en-suite, handy when there are a few of you. The lovely part is the patio doors that lead out to the veranda from both the main bedroom (beautiful view to wake up to!) and the large kitchen/diner, so you have this amazing landscape right in front of you. "This is a relatively new property with well appointed extras. Nice back deck with outdoor seating for 6. Easy parking at front door. Very clean. Owner was extremely responsive to any needs. We had 4 adults and the smaller bedroom was a little tight. Would book again for sure"

"Very spacious, oven and dishwasher were great. We chose this specifically bc it had a laundry washer. Being from the US, just assumed it meant there was a dryer also (my mistake!). But there is a clothes line and clothes pins- just don’t leave it out overnight bc it rains! Beds were very comfortable and large! Only thing to be ware of- the shower sometimes went from hot to cold rapidly (back and forth between freezing and scalding hot). First three people to shower were fine but by the 4th, it...

"All 9 of us had a lovely stay at Darris Farm house. Perfect location near the Loch Ness. Beautiful house with everything you need! We loved the hot tub and garden! Feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, so peaceful yet you are so close to supermarkets and Inverness. We contacted the host a few times and got a quick response each time 😊"

"Wow what a place! We went for our honeymoon and it was outstanding. The location was amazing, not too far from Inverness and on the road to Loch Ness and amenities close by. You feel right in the countryside and waking up to astonishing views of green scenery. The house was immaculate and the welcome gift basket of food and our honeymoon present made it all that much special. A definite must for couples, families and people who want to escape the hustle and bustle. We look forward to coming back...
