"The room smelled like strong peppermint or some similar mineral oil. That's fine though because for the most part it smelled clean. The only bad smell was after flushing the toilet or sometimes when running the shower, a poop smell would come from the toilet. Y'all might have a leak.
The beds were clean, smelled surprisingly fresh, and the pillows were comfy. No bed bugs under the mattress and bed was clean under sheets.
The carpet was dry👍

"We got put in the melia due to an error at the hotel we were supposed to stay at cancelling our booking when we were supposed to arrive. What an absolute blessing in disguise. "Great stay! More relaxing and affordable than an overpriced, upscale hotel….all the bells and whistles without the high price tag. Staff was polite and professional, the rooms were clean and visually pleasing, the beds were comfortable, and the warm complimentary breakfast was tasty with healthy options. The staff even accompanied our request to have a late checkout. All of this for a reasonable room rate. We will definitely stay here again! "
