Man muss aber beachten, dass es kein Hotelzimmer ist, sondern ein Zelt. Es war ein schönes Abenteuer und wir konnten viel Energie tanken. "Eine Location mit sehr viel Charme, tollem Ranger Clifford, freundlichsten Personal, auch wenn die Eintichtungen etwas „in die Jahre“ gekommen sind. Für die Anfahrt über die letzten 14 km unbefestigte Straße sind sicher 30 min Autofahrt einzuplanen. Diese Straße muss man auch zurück, wenn der Nationalpark besucht wird."

Das Essen, gerade auch das Frühstück, war ausgezeichnet. Und auch wir hatten das Glück, an allen drei Abenden beim Abendessen von Eddie und seinem Klavier begleitet zu werden. "Lovely hotel to stay at when visiting Addo. Rooms are huge and the bathroom is lovely, especially the outdoor shower. Only downside is there is no door so the light comes in as soon as the sun rises.

Breakfast was good, buffet selection and eggs cooked to order. Nice pool with towels and sunscreen provided which was a nice touch."

"Wir haben hier 3 Nächte verbracht aufgrund der Nähe zum Addo Park. Die Unterkunft selbst ist toll, das Personal sehr bemüht. Wir sind sehr früh abgereist aufgrund des Fluges und uns wurde ein schönes Frühstückspaket vorbereitet. Es ist ausreichend Platz vorhanden, eine landestypische Unterkunft, die dennoch die „Vorstellungen“ eines Europäers erfüllt. Die Unterkunft ist jedoch ca 1 std mit dem Auto von Port Elizabeth entfernt und man muss kurz hinter PE durch ein recht unsicher wirkendes Gebiet...
"Wij hebben hier een fijne tijd gehad. Lisa stuurde vooraf handige informatie over de app. Het verblijf lag op steenworp afstand van addo elephant park af en in de buurt waren leuke eettentjes en een supermarkt.
