"Only 15 minutes by walk from Durban Square.
Staff young and very kindly.
Breakfast with good quality of foods.
Cleaning ok.
In general all excellent at an honest price."
"Room is pretty big, clean and spacious. Manager Mr. Kedar was so helpful with things like booking tourist bus tickets, he even offered me city sightseeing with a good price which was very much worth it.
I highly recommend this hotel."
"I loved my stay; it was a lovely family-run hotel. I highly recommend it and would happily return! The family that runs the hotel greeted me with open arms, and it was one of the highlights of my stay in Nepal. 700-800 NPR taxi to Thamel, and 1000 NPR to the airport as reference."
"It's right next to the Durbar, a very convenient location. The staffs were very nice and helpful. We also liked the hotel restaurant. If you want to stay in a building with history, you will enjoy it. "
"The rooms were clean, very comfortable and the staff was amazing helpful. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kathmandu Nepal!"
"The property is a very relaxing refuge for a traveller. The staff were very helpful and accommodating during my stay which is a call-out and a big part of the charm of the place. The rooms were as one would expect from an old world style establishment, a bit generous and functional. The grounds were pleasant place to relax."
"I recently had a 2 week stay here and enjoyed it very much. The rooms are clean, secure, in a great location with loads of restaurants/bars shops nearby, the rooftop is very nice and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. They can also organise treks/excursions for you"
"My week stay at this hotel was pleasant. The location is excellent, in the heart of Thamel.
The suite I stayed in was comfortable.
I have only two small criticisms:
The hot water had a very strong and unpleasant smell.
Loud music from the next bar into the morning hours."
"Wonderful stay while in Nepal! Excellent service, all staff will make you feel at home and will do their best to guarantee a great experience. I will definitely book Kailash Kutee on my next visit.
When you go, say hello to Puru from my part, he is a amazing host, since the beginning to the end of my stay he was always on top if the service and my experience in Kathmandu.
"
"The restaurant gets no special mentions which is weird because it's great. Great value hotel with rooms nicer than I'm used to on the edge of Thamel."
