"The Ryokan director, Shino Onozawa, was terrific! We arrived early and our room was ready. We selected the breakfast option, which was delicious. Shino made our stay there the perfect Ryokan experience. The town was very easy to navigate, and the snow monkeys were short taxi ride away. I would highly recommend this location."

"I would recommend Uotoshi Ryokan to anyone visiting Yudanaka. It is a lovely traditional Japanese inn with comfortable rooms and a relaxing hot spring bath. It is very conveniently located near Snow Monkey park, many restaurants, and the Yudanaka train station. The owners are kind and helpful, and even offer to drive you to Snow Monkey Park! We will stay here again if we come back to Yudanaka."
