"The good - very unique and quaint location, and convenient (right off main road, ski rental and local minimart across the road and 5 min walk to the gondola). Historic building with lots of interesting local ski history. Rooms are renovated with a nice chic style and were clean. Sauna was a highlight. The not so good - for the price expect much much better service. Check-in was unhelpful and uninspiring at best. Zero property information provided upon check-in, and questions were answered...

"The staff at the front desk were terribly Friendly- MS REBECCA, KUSEY (hope I got it right) and the very lovely GM of the hotel. She offered my husband the local beer which was a very kind gesture. We were surprised at the respectfulness, friendliness and everything that you can ask from a front desk staff. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast buffet was delicious. My husband enjoyed the bacon."

"After a long tiring day of travel we found the check in using our cellphone low on battery frustrating. Couldn’t find anyone around but staff in the restaurant that were irritated by our request for help.We eventually were let in the main door by a guest walking by and she helped us get in our room….finally. I still can’t understand why there is a lovely reception desk and no one working it. Anyhow once we charged up our phone and practiced we found it worked well. The hotel is handy and...
