Really good service, only thing is, if you are afraid of lizards and frogs, and all of those fields animal, i would not recomend this resort for you. But after that, it was really beautiful, peacefull, food was really delicius and cheap.

This is a must-stay resort if you are visiting Phuket, especially if it a aromantic getaway. It is incredibly beautiful and relaxing, but the staff most of all make it an unforgettable experience. The only downside is that even though they have transportation to the main island, it’s not always convenient and it of no fault of their own (can’t travel by speedboat at night). This wasn’t an issue with us as there were plenty of beach bars, things to do, excursions, and the resort itself was immaculate. We were truly sad when we had to say goodbye.

I recently stayed at the resort on the isolated island and had an incredible experience. The location was breathtaking, with stunning views of the beautiful ocean and lush tropical surroundings. The resort itself was beautifully designed and well-maintained, offering a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The staff were friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable. Santhiya Kho Yao Yao is a beautiful, traditional Thai resort hotel with kind attentive staff who help to create a calm and relaxing environment. Once you arrive on the island on a fast speed boat from Phuket you immediately feel you have arrived in an oasis of calm and gentle surroundings. The hotel staff are kind and caring and I found little or no fault with the standard of service and their attentive attitude. The hotel is built in a traditional Thai style with beautiful ornate woodwork in the rooms and villas. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The villas with private pools are even more spacious and all of them have spectacular views of the sea or gardens. The hotel has 3 restaurants which serve Thai food, Japanese food and a wide selection of western foods. For me, the Japanese restaurant was exceptional with outstanding quality Japanese cuisine at affordable prices. The breakfast is served in the restaurant at the top out the hill close to the blocks of rooms and offers a huge selection of all types of foods and is an absolute highlight and a perfect way to start the day. The pace of life in this hotel is calm and gentle and some may regard the slow pace of day to day life as a problem. However, our view was that it represents all that is central to Thai culture in the kind, respectful and relaxed environment. This was our third stay at the Santhiya and we will be back. Thank you to all the management and staff for a memorable stay.

Frühstücksauswahl groß aber wiederholend. Der Meerblick im Zimmer und beim Essen ist sehr schön. Strandliegen leider dreckig und Schrauben liegen Rum. Das Meer ist sehr trüb und teilweise steinig zu Beginn. Restaurants sind im Verhältnis zu den thailändischen Preisen sehr teuer. Massagen auch mind. 2-3x teurer. Taxi zum Pier 730THB. Viel zu teuer. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Badewanne auf dem Balkon. Es kam fast kein Wasser aus dem Hahn. Ich habe mich eig.sehr auf das Hotel gefreut, gerade da doch viele gute positive Bewertungen angezeigt wurden. Leider wurde ich enttäuscht. Kann es nicht weiterempfehlen.

The property is beautiful, decoration is very unique. The food is not good at all, order from different restaurants and it was the same, no flavor at all. The service is terrible , although the staff are nice, they greet you everywhere bit the service is bad and their english is very limited, it was very very very hard ti communicate and no-one cares about the the service. They also charge for EVERYTHING and everything is over priced. If their customer service were better and the at least some of the staff spoke english this place would be amazing. Had too many inconveniences and none of them were solve properly. Definitely not returning.

Beautiful and stunning views, tranquil and remote location. Visited for my honeymoon & we had a great time. The AC in the hotel room had trouble keeping up with the 100 degree days.

It would be nice if there are more speedboats at different times to Phuket and back. There needs to be a coffee machine in every room. There need to be more sunshades.

Beautiful authentic Thai resort in luxury. Island peaceful away from tourists. Rooms very nice and very cold AC. Views are amazing. Was in hotel 3. Dont stay here if you have mobility issues. Lots of stairs and in and out truck type transportation with high step up and steep hills and down to beach. You will not be right on beach. Different restatrants same menu. Service is good but not amazing in restaurants.. some of the workers act less eager to please. Typical of large resorts. Spa was great.. there are things to do... prices more expensive because where you at. Mopeds.were fun.. hard to get back to phuket..and expensive because of private pier tp ao po grand marina. This is 5 star place. Would do again

We absolutely loved our stay at Santhiya. It surpassed our expectations! The service was excellent all around -- from the shuttles to the spa to the restaurants. We also loved all the extra detail that went into things like decor, live music and fun activities around the resort. It felt like a once in a lifetime experience and I would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for incredible service and Thai hospitality.

It was a great place to spend time without thinking about anything. One thing I would like to see improved is the shuttle service within the hotel grounds. Please note that if you choose a room far from the pick-up location, you will have to walk a considerable distance. However, it seems that small children, pregnant women, and people who require assistance will be transported by cart.

This was a beautiful spot for us to spend the week. The resort itself was amazing and had lot of activities to do. However, the island didn’t have much else to offer. Just a couple of local shops.

Das Hotel ist etwas besonderes und lädt zum entspannen ein. Leider ist es mittlerweile schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und es wären einige Renovierungsarbeiten notwendig. Z.b. Bei den Stiegen zum Pool fehlen einige Steine und somit besteht Gefahr sich zu verletzen, Nägel stehen aus Holzliegen raus

I had been staying in Phuket before my stay at the Santhiya so I took a taxi to the Marina and had arranged to take the speedboat as required. However, I was not given any information on where to meet the speedboat or if I was supposed to check in with any hotel staff somewhere. I was able to find the speedboat thanks to helpful people around the marina, but the staff at the boat kept asking me if I had checked in. They were not able to tell me where, and after some walkie-talkie and telephone discussions by staff, someone was able to find my name on their list and I was able to board the boat. I do not know if the Sanythiya has a procedure for checking in guests who have not taken the airport shuttle, or if I missed a desk/office at the Marina which belonged to the Santhiya but no one was able to direct me elsewhere. Keep in mind that Check-In at the Santhiya is 3pm, and if you arrive before that time your room will likely not be available yet! The hotel staff take your luggage when you arrive off the speedboat so while I enjoyed an hour or so at a restaurant getting lunch and waiting for my room, I would have enjoyed my time more if I had grabbed my swimsuit first. I wish the Santhiya had encouraged me to book a later speedboat so I would arrive when my room was ready. The facilities are fabulous and the buffet breakfast was always a very welcome sight. I can't rave about things more than everyone else already has so just trust me that you will have a fabulous time here.

This is a hidden gem! Excellent service from the moment I arrived to the moment we left! They made it truly a wonderful vacation. Only thing I would let people know that there are a lot of kids around the resort. It didn’t bother us personally, but if that is something you are not looking for would not recommend. Really enjoyed personally!

Boede 3 nætter i en dejlig villa med egen pool. Jeg synes ikke de dårlige anmeldelser der findes er retfærdige. 1. Santhiya er ikke nyt, men den villa vi var i, var i fin stand 2. Ja, der er meget kuperet og systemet med biler der kører rundt hele tiden er nødvendigt hvis man er gangbesværet, men man kan godt gå rundt, omend stedet ikke er lavet til dette. 3. Betjeningen på restauranterne var upåklagelig og systemet med at bestille på tablet eller mobiltelefon virkede helt perfekt, de som har talt dårligt om metoden, har nok ikke kunne få det til at virke. Jeg ville nok ikke tage et almindeligt værelse på hotellet, der er mange andre steder som er mindre logistisk udfordrende.

Before I begin, I want it to be clear that the staff and workers of the resort were extremely kind and nice. But that place was the worst part of my trip in Thailand, least, absolute least favorite part. Very beautiful though. There was something magical about the view from the infinity pool. I could have stared at the horizon for hours. The Muay Thai classes were a lot of fun. But we were very grateful to leave that resort. We just really thought it was overpriced food and ridiculous the boat ride to and from the port was not included. Think the resort should provide at least one ride there and one ride back for free. I did like that I was able to use WhatsApp and contact the hotel people whenever though. I had a mosquito issue in my room and whatsapped them and with in 5 minutes some dude sprayed our room. And there was a really cool monkey who may have stolen a bottle of Fanta (I’m assuming he wasn’t the original owner). But we only saw him one time. If I had seen him more I would have given more stars. More monkeys please and establish a 7eleven in the resort. Or a free shuttle to the village where they have a 7eleven.

Not a big problem but we had a squirrel or mouse digging in the ceiling for 2 nights, we did report it and the staff were quick to see what they could do and offered to move us, but we decided to stay and put up with the local wildlife

We enjoyed the rooms with balcony and bay views. The pools and beach were refreshing and convenient. Food service excellent. Breakfast was fantastic. We enjoyed excursion to nearby elephant sanctuary and private speed boat island hopping and snorkling for our family.
