Poor service no customer service.
Rooms are roomy and clean. Ac not working properly called reception 3 times no solid answer and resolution. Wifi Sucks speed on kbps. This is 2019. We had very uncomfortable night because of poor as temperature was 35 plus.

Nice hotel with small pool and good staff. Be prepared to pay more than usual (for India) at restaurant and for 10 mins auto ride then ferry to fort Cochin.

The hotel itself was reasonable, and the front desk staff were helpful. However, the whole experience was brought down by the restaurant staff. Endless delays and confusion let to a very frustrating experience. Tired and hungry travelers (with children) do not want to wait for more than an hour for their meal to arrive, and in the wrong order. We truly tried our best to not be bothered by it, but it was not anywhere near acceptable.

A good place.
The staff are very sweet and nice. The place is quite clean and they took good care of us. The challenge here is of you’re expecting a pool where you can really hang out and spend some time, this is not the place. There are very few lounge chairs and no service at the pool. The only other challenge was the bed was too soft for us. Overall it’s a good place.

Run down. Not worth the price.
For the price, this hotel was not worth it. Features like Wi-Fi and air con didn't work well. Breakfast was mostly Indian food, little options for westerners. The pool was full of tiny bugs that left me itchy and the hotel itself looks very rundown and is in the middle of no where. Plus I had the worst experience ever at the spa - do not get a massage there!

This is a 20 USD per night property
I stay in 50 hotels per year. This is a former 3 star hotel turned into a bad 2 star. Basic Electrical problems, doors not locking, incompetent staff from another era. Obviously management knows since they feel the need to promote non genuine reviews

Lovely hotel, great staff, relaxing
We were disappointed that there was a misunderstanding when we booked, we thought we had the room for two days. We loved the hotel. The wonderful staff made our stay comfortable. They went out of their way to help us. We did return and stay one more day just resting and relaxing. It is a bit far to travel, however to just get away and relax it is perfect. It was peaceful and quiet. What would have been useful would be to have different pamphlets on tours and sight seeing that we could have done. Maybe a display stand for customers.

Lovely stay in Cochin
It was a pleasure staying there. The friendly staff did everything to please us during our stay, e.g. organizing trips. Great food in the restaurant, room service worked at every time. Big room with lovely balcony and view. Fresh and clean pool.

3 days at PJ PRINCESS Vypin Kerala
PJPRINCESS what a lovely setting, very peaceful, great pool with peddle boat around the lake, table and tennis We had a view of all from a massive balcony just lovely photos in advert are exact. Train station exit a man offering tuk and taxi asked price no reply you know the type, he had something to do with station tuks and told drives to charge 800 rupee, we refused and tried to do a deal with driver, the man was not having this so the tuk tuk left, next one was going to do the same, I was furious with the man and told him to butt out severe times as my I was speaking to the driver, he continued until I threatened him with station police, the driver said to come outside the station and we dealt at 400 giving him 500 for his patience. Whilst at the hotel the staff would order and ask the price before we got in it was 80rs to the ferry which cost 6 rs to Cochin fort. However the cheapest tuk we could get going back was 120rs. Leaving after 3 lovely days by night train meant we had a long wait so we asked if we could pay to keep our room for the last day, Micheal front of house manager really nice and helpful always with anything, well travelled and educated agreed to speak to his manager. As the hotel was not so busy not only did we get our room till 7pm, but it was a gift! The food is very nice and the chef very accommodating, also it was much nicer than food which was more expensive in Cochin. Downside the hotel has no alcohol licence,be discreat T.Y.O

Good service!
We were lucky to Get a "the lighthouse" room, and enjoyed the facilities a lot. Nice staff as well. But remember that This Hotel is a bit away from everything, and you can't walk to the beach allthough it Looks like it on Google EARTH :-)

Good hotel
Allowed us to check in early at 5am for a small fee and upgraded us to a superior room. Room excellent very large with large balcony. Nice clean pool. Easy to get to Cochin via ferry 2 rupees about 5 minutes across and very frequent. Not much to do around hotel and no alcohol served. Long distance Taxis expensive from hotel much cheaper from tourist information office at fort.

Good deal in Cochin
good clean hotel, friendly staff, fair breakfast set up, try to arrange taxi or transport yourself, the hotel restaurant is overpriced and was not to my taste. overall I would definitely stay here again..

After alleppey you can have a day stopover at cochin(1 hr drive) before heading back north... We stayed for 2 days here...Located on Vypeen Island, 20 min drive from main city. But located amongst lush greenery/ coconut plantations all around... Everything was great during our stay...fantastic rooms, rooms have full automation, friendly, caring and cheerful staff, great food, inhouse boating/ activities... If you visit here, do plan a day trip to Athirapalli waterfalls through the forest reserves.. its safe fun and the biggest south indian waterfalls will take your breath away once u r right underneath the waterfall.. While in the hotel, we were spellbound by some amazing gestures by the lovely people at the resort, the restaurant / front desk staff were brilliant, and made us feel special at all times.

One of the finest hotels in Cochin
First of all let me say that the service offered was amazing. There is absolutely nothing that they don't provide from neat gadget filled rooms with great views, friendly staff, good food etc and compare it with the price and you have an absolute wonder. We got fresh sandwiches at 3 in the morning with a smile on the staff's face and on another instance a room sandals something that's offered only at a 5 star I believe.

A hotel with pleasant and professional crew
It was very comfortable..the hotel staff is pleasant and supportive..nice food especially buffet breakfast and dinner.The initial greet with a pleasant smile of receptionist was awesome. Rooms are pretty comfortable and with latest technology..quite a professional approach .

A lovely place to stay
What is outstanding about PJPrincess, apart from the quality of the facilities, was the attention that had obviously been brought to staff service and their training. Staff were outstanding. The only nuisance was that Reception never had change on hand - always had to ring someone somewhere in the hotel and then the change was not available. This is a bit unprofessional in an otherwise lovely hotel. Thank you

12月に主人と宿泊しました。 スタッフは皆親切です。 特にフロントスタッフの韓国系の顔立ちの男性スタッフは頭が良く、こちらの要求をすぐに理解してくれました。 今度は３月末に私を含め３人で利用します。 子供がインドの大学院に通っているのでインドに行く度に毎回利用しようと思っています。 短所は朝食でカレーばかりなので外人の子供も食べられる辛くない料理もデザートも含めて用意していただけると嬉しいです。

The stay was excellent by all standards. its been quite a while since i found a hotel stay as comfortable as i had experienced at p j princess. the staff was very friendly and all the services were up to the standard. i would rate this hotel 9.5/10. rooms were also very well maintained with latest gadgetry.

Efter en lång resa från Sverige, genom ett lite kaotiskt Ernakullan kom vi till denna oas på Vypin island!! Ett mycket gott bemötande och en mycket god service från all personal. Efter utflykter till Fort Cochin och Ernakullan var det mycket skönt att komma till lugnet på PJ Princess.

Thoroughly awful
While the pictures are nice, the hotel itself was a disaster. On our first night in the room, the lighting system broke and we couldn't turn the lights off despite having maintenance come and try to fix it multiple times. Then finally they accepted that it was not fixable and they moved us to another room, in which the shower didn't drain so it flooded the entire bathroom. The front desk never knew anything about tourist attractions... a hostel could have done better. They also have contracts/agreements with terrible companies for backwater tours or taxis so we got sent to the worst places. On one night, they were supposed to call us a taxi and instead got a random driver that was totally not a registered cab driver and took us 2.5 hours to get to somewhere no more than 30 minutes away because he had to stop 10 times and ask random passerby where to go. I felt totally unsafe and could not trust the hotel after that.

Rummen trevliga med en underbar balkong med utsikt över den vackra hotelparken. Städningen mycket bra. Personalen mycket trevlig och hjälpsam. Läget är lite avsides från Kochi man behöver transport ca 20 min för att ta sig till stan. Poolen dåligt skött.Man såg inte botten pga grumligt/ofrächt vatten. Ganska hög extra kostnad för obligatorisk (!?) Nyårsfest tillkom, annars fick vi inte bo kvar - trots att ingen info gått ut innan och vistelsen redan var betald. Ring hotellet och kontrollera om ev extra kostnader innan du betalar.

Perfect Kochi retreat
We enjoyed every minute of our stay over the New Year holiday. The hotel is in perfect condition, staff is very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant food is excellent. The pool, though not very large, is pleasant and refreshing. It was easy, fun and fairly quick to take a tuk-tuk and ferry into Kochi in about 20 minutes. The only issue at the hotel is a room door "alarm" system to notify guests if their door isn't closed when leaving the room - the alarm is sounding at various times all over the hotel and can be annoying. I hope that they fix this one small problem and they will have a perfect little hotel. We highly recommend the PJ Princess to anyone wanting to visit the Kochi area who prefers a quiet, first-class retreat from the hustle and bustle of central Kochi.

Our stay was a bad experience, When we reached the reception. My family was sitting on the sofa while I was checking in. They saw a rate running under their foot. Two assistant people came to see what's happening, when they understood that there is a rate under the sofa, they were laughing. And trying to find it without instrument to take him away from the hotel. No one apologize about it. Secondly, on Hotels. com description we were supposed to have a room with balcony, mini bar, king size bed, ect. They gave us the standard room without balcony, etc. We complained to the manager, he told us that : it's a mistake from hotels,com the room you paid is the one you got. After 3 hours of complaining, we finally got the room with balcony. Thirstly, they tried to force us to pay the New Year's Eve Party of the Hotel (7000 rp for 3 people). They told us that, we don't have choice, if we are staying in the hotel the 31st december, we have to pay for their NY's Eve party, even if we don't show up. I fight with them for 1 hour more, When I said that I will complain to Hotels.com, the manager changed its position. We were exhausted. Finally, the breakfast buffet was not adapted for occidental people. It's was only indian food exept some cereals. And, the swimming people was like a chicken cage. Just in front of the main entrance, no intimity and very durty. People were going in the swimming pool with their dresses. And then, the swimming pool was not cleaned up.

Bon rapport qualité prix : chambre propre et confortable, joli hotel. Cependant, le service est long: Check in et Check out interminables, dîner en semaine nécessite un temps fou pour être servis. Le taxi que nous avions réserve pour nous prendre à l'aéroport n'est jamais arrive... Bref, joli endroit, mais il faut encore travailler sur le service!

Perfect
We had a very nice stay there. The hotel is located on a secluded island which was very calm for Indian conditions. Although Fort Kochi is reachable in a few minutes by the ferry. Also a small beach with a lighthouse is situated behind the hotel. But the water is too dirty to swim inside. The hotel itself was very clean! I have never seen such a clean hotel in India solely the water in the ditch wasn't clean and the square in front wasn't finished yet. But that's all of the negative aspects. We really enjoyed the food at our balcony. Over all a very nice stay but unfortunately to short.
