"Perfect quiet spot with green, relaxing surroundings and a very friendly host family"

"Disappointing. This is a spacious gated resort. The Marina Hotel is a 4 storey building at one edge. A shuttle service is necessary to get to the restaurant and activity areas which are about 2Km away These shuttle vehicles must be summoned by phone. These vehicles are high and awkward. I am 70 and could not manage the steps up. If you are over 30 and even slightly heavy you will struggle. Shuttle buses only operate within the resort. Taxis are expensive and not always reliable at night. In the...

"Beautiful pool villa, wonderful resort, and very helpful and nice people. Whenever we are in Koh Chang, we will definitely book the pool villa again! 10/10 experience"

"Top 5 hotel in the world. Amazing staff, amazing restaurant food and the surroundings were amazing. Rentals on point. We will be back. Quiet and secluded. Just what you need to relax."

"Absolutely beautiful. Admittedly, I was very surprised to see that the toilet and shower in the villa was actually outside, but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The private beach is heavenly, the beach side bar and food was excellent. You're a bit far to the south, but that only puts you closer to the southern pier, and nothing is very far away in the first place - not a very big island to start with. All in all, couldn't be happier with this place."

Strandschaukel. Hängematte."

"Veldig bra"

"Great Resort. Wonderful staff. Well managed. Good food. Have stayed here many times and can't wait to return"

"The resort overall was excellent. Rooms were big ,but a lttle basic. Our only gripe-checking in was slow ."

"Ok room. Restaurant quality not good.. terrible food."

"If you are looking for an island vacation away from the crowds and traffic, Koh Kood is great and Shantaa is a great place to stay. Rooms are luxurious with private open air bathrooms, and a great restaurant. Swim in the pool or ocean right off the hotel grounds. Staff are kind and friendly."
