"We had the loveliest stay at Explorar. The food, staff, beach, accommodations and building is incredible. The only feedback is to inquire guest preferences (smoking or non). We were given the only ocean front room with a partial balcony, and spent every single day out ok the balcony so that was unfortunate, but the kicker was that The smoking area was right below us. We are two very health conscious non-smokers, who religiously use the gym and take care of ourselves. It was too bad to have such...
"Das Frühstück war frisch und es gab für jeden etwas an Auswahl. Uns hat gestört, dass die Zimmer (wir hatten die Poolvilla) leider schon in die Jahre gekommen ist. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Wer nicht viel Wert auf moderne Ausstattung legt, kann dort gut unterkommen. "
"OK beachside property in a good Lamai Beach location, with very warm and friendly staff. Rooms need modernising - I would estimate the "smart" TV was 10+ years old, with installed unresponsive streaming apps to match. Internet was close to being unusable. It would drop out unexpectedly multiple times a day, then when it resumed it would be very slow. Possibly was an excellent hotel when it was new, but now a bit tired and dated."
"Only stayed one night. Good location, friendly & helpful staff.
My only complain is the noise. This hotel is very close to the bars and restaurants. Sound proof is not great. You can definitely hear the noise at night time."
