We stayed here 18 years ago on our honeymoon and have returned with our children. All I can say is that this place is a slice of heaven and even better than I remember it with the most attentive staff, we can honestly not fault a single one of them from the front security who I think may be the smiliest person I have ever met to the cleaners, the pool staff the buggy drivers, the spa staff and front desk. Too many to name them all but thanks especially to Donut for our tour arrangements and Soi for the most fabulous spa day and Torn for the fabulous cocktails at the pool bar.
The rooms are lovely and clean, the food is amazing especially all the fresh fruit and smoothies. The breakfast is fabulous. The gardens are beautifully kept and the yoga session was worth getting up for. I’m running out of superlatives but this is truly a special place. It is a little more out of the way which is part of its charm but taxis are pretty cheap and we hired a car for a few days to go further afield.
