"Location is excellent, right on the beach. Rooms have large lockers. Wifi doesn’t reach the rooms and barely works at the beach bar. Bunk beds move a lot and make noise. "
"I think this place does not deserve the negative reviews it gets. First, there are NO accommodations on the beach. It's a small island; almost everything is on a hill. Cleaning is only every 3-4 days or on request; this isn't a 5-star hotel! This is the ONLY truly Green Accommodation I have encountered; the owner deserves respect & gratitude for trying so hard against the wave of the non-caring. "We have visited Koh Tao many times and have stayed at Pranee Amata for the last 7 visits as we have found it to be the most convenient hotel for Sarrie beach, as its quieter than the ones that are on the beach but still close to the action, they have their own swimming pool which is lovely, the rooms are cleaned daily, the staff are helpful and friendly, a very good for value hotel."

"Great hotel tucked away behind the scenes located between the busy resort areas. Has everything you need right in the area and on the property. Friendly staff, scooter rentals and a small bar with a pool table for the rainy days. It’s in a less busy more relaxed area of Koh Tao located between the Pier and the South Island resort area.
