"Staff at the front desk were really helpful. The room was small but perfectly comfortable and had great amenities, including soft lighting (not just big overhead lights), soap, shampoo etc, a functioning kitchenette, tea and coffee, and a comfy bed. Bonus that the TV also connected to YouTube, Netflix etc. Easy to get to from the train station and a short walk to the main square. "Only one issue. When booking on hotels.com it said check was at 15:00 and checkout was at 12:00. When I received information from the hotel on the day of arrival, just few hours before check in, I was now informed check in was at 16:00 and checkout the following day at 10:00. Luckily we had planned to leave at 09:00 but can be an issue to some. "

"The room was tiny but clean and nicely located, walking distance to the city centre. I booked it based on the pictures which was wrong decision. It was different, tiny. The bed was narrow for 2 taller people. The communication with the landlord was perfect"

"Great stay, very clean room and bathroom, comfortable beds, excellent buffet breakfast included. Quiet and safe area, close to the main square with several restaurants, a convenience store, and a pharmacy nearby. Just a four-minute drive from the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum. I highly recommend it."

"Our room was large and very comfortable with excellent air con. It had everything you needed. The staff were professional, friendly and efficient. It was an excellent location next to everything. The bar was a nice environment for drinks. The price was extremely good value for money. I can't think how it could be improved other than a shower cubicle rather than a shower over a bath but that is personal choice."

"We booked five rooms for eight nights at Hotel Szafran for our group of ten. We were very pleased with the rooms - plenty of space and quite comfortable and clean. Although there wasn't a/c in our rooms, the standing fans helped a lot. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were kind and helpful. The location was perfect as there was a shopping center next door, and we could easily find supplies for our service project. Every member of our group commented that the hotel was simply perfect for us. We will definitely plan to stay at Hotel Szafran the next time we are in the area. "
