"The check in procedure at Meruorah was less than desirable. There was not enough staff to accommodate the many people checking in and at one point all 3 front desk staff walked away from there position without ever greeting the waiting guests or saying something like we'll be right back. Requesting anything from the room was another issue. I dialed the front office, reception, room service and finally housekeeping. "Pros: helpful and nice staff, clean bedroom and bathroom.
Cons: absolute lack of maintenance, the hotel was build few years ago and since then there was no maintenance at all. Paint is peeling of the walls and ceiling, gardens without flowers, common areas look like construction yard, there is no space to hang around, sit together, etc. Fotos has been taken in the time the hotel was opened. Now it looks much different."
