Absolute garbage dump. Car and motorcycle repair shop at front entrance. Pool was green with algae from not being cleaned.

it was a terrible experience we didn't get a room in the yacht club apartment but in a other premises called the loge than the next the we had to change once again and to City inn a mess We didn't stay a mess a total mess we had to book another hotel. please manage so I can get my money back. please

nice place I never received the key for the safe the 2nd lock by at the entrance door was missing during the 1st week my apartment was cleaned twice (very nice!), but during the 2nd week it wasn't cleaned at all...

It'll do in a pinch for a last minute stay

Due to an airline schedule change we had to find accommodations for 1 night. The room was clean, but the bed linen was torn, stained and too small for the bed. The mattress was stained, I checked for bed bugs but all was good on that topic. The room was dark and the lighting poor. The shower did have a hot water faucet but it took forever and then some for warm water to come. The kitchen was poorly supplied for glassware, silverware etc. If I had a do-over I'd have booked elsewhere.- if all the units are like this one I wouldn't stay here for anything more than a stop over. Now this all said, did they give us a sub-par unit because of the brief stay, and others are much better?... who knows. It was just for a short stay before a very early flight the next morning, the only thing we unpacked was p.j.'s and our toiletries. Oh the plus side there is a pool and a cozy court yard, and the restaurant Chez Madeline's is on site; also they are very close to Pasta Bon Pizza.(a favorite of ours),

Bij aankomst niemand aanwezig, moest bellen, moest naar andere plek rijden. Ander appartement gekregen. Wel ruime kamer, maar zonder mogelijkheid buiten te zitten, ook geen zwembad. Veel jongeren aanwezig, niet ideaal in combinatie met te moeten werken.

Price is right for basic accommodation

This was my third stay at this property. It is in a terrific location with proximity to the water while not being right on the waterfront. The studio efficiency units with a full kitchen have everything you need. The bed is comfortable and there is free WiFi. On the other hand, don't come expecting a full service hotel. These are furnished apartments where you must provide your own soap, salt and coffee. They give you fresh towels and linens a few times a week and some toilet paper but that's about it! If you know that in advance and don't expect all the frills and amenities of a hotel, you won't be disappointed. The best thing to know is that if you clearly communicate your needs to the administration, they will be happy to help. Email is often the best way to reach them even if you are onsite.

The appartment was good. I liked the privacy.

The room is espacious. The kids loved the pool. I think the office has to be open till 5 or 6pm.Most question I had the boy who was working in the office don't know nothing. His work is only administration.

Great for families, not so much for divers

We rented the 2 bedroom apt. Rooms were huge. There was a large LR/DR/ kitchen combo. Kitchen was well furnished with a few exceptions (the only sharp knife was a very small paring knife & the electric water kettle didn't work). 'Fridge was a decent size, stove top was electric, a working coffee maker & microwave. 2 safes in the kitchen area, neither worked (we did not feel we need to use them!) Bathroom was huge, always enough warm water for showers. Bedrooms had air con that worked well, also fans in the apt. Beds a little uncomfortable. Great location, quiet at night, we felt safe the entire time. WiFi in the rooms (free) & reliable for Bonaire. There is a pool (we didn't use). Center part of the complex is a separate restaurant - a little weird walking by people sitting down to eat while you are in your diving gear! The housekeeper spoke only Spanish, but she seemed to come twice a week, with towel deliveries sort of random but we NEVER ran out of clean towels, in fact had them to spare (unusual in some apts). Now for the downside: the TV did not have sound and it was apparently something they couldn't fix - so no TV for 2 weeks (not a big issue for us, but if you had kids to entertain occasionally, it might be an issue). We parked on the side of the complex & the gate was locked at night - we had no key. For divers: rinse tank without drain / plug & gear room small with no lights. The owner was pretty responsive to issues (contacted via email).

NO RESPECT FOR CUSTOMERS

First I was transfered to Eden Beach resort. The hotel is clean, staff very friendly, location is ideal, but they do not respect customers, loud music well past 10PM. If you expect a working internet then go somewhere else as it continually disconnect not only every 60 minutes as they say, but always, impossible to have a Skype conversation either video or phone. If they would respect customers and have a TRUE working internet they would received a 4.5 to 5 stars from me, but when NO RESPECT is given to customers then it is a 1 star and I will not revise my score under any circumstances

Good location, nice pool

With a little more attention to detail, this accommodation would be fantastic. But they need to do a bit of work to ensure functional air conditioning, replaced lightbulbs, repaired window screens, and the necessities like handsoap, dish soap, dish sponge, dish towels, etc.

No Clean Pillow Cases- Plenty of Dead Bugs

Not a resort by any means. Mosquitos squashed on walls and ceiling do not a resort make. More like an apartment in a low rent district. Clean sheets on a bed with dirty, stained pillow cases that still had the smell of cheap perfume on them. I know what musty smells like living in a beach town. This room smelled dirty and the air conditioning needed a good cleaning as well.

Pretty bad organisation and not very clean

We booked for dour people and were welcomed by a drunken guy. He told us there is no room for all of us. In the end he found a matress for us and we all got a bed. There were two tiny towels for five people. On our second day we got more towels and an unpolite remembering that we have to pay. Two people were standing in front of the appartment ready to receive our creditcard. We were able to show them that we already payed. Not very well organised and the people were pretty unpolite! For the rest it was ok.

Outstanding French/Belgian restaurant-Madeline's

Just spent 11 days in a one bedroom apartment. The apartment was very spacious. The air conditioning was inadequate but that is common in many Bonaire hotels. One air conditiioner in bedroom. No screens in any sliding glass doors, so if you open your door be prepared for mosquitoes. Office staff adequate, cleaning person came 3 times a week and provided fresh towels and washed floors.Bring your soap and wash clothes. Aparentments surround a fabulous French/Belgian restaurnat, Madeline's. Outstanding! Some of the best food in taste and presentation we have ever had. Be sure to check out nearby Eden Beach where you can rent chairs for five dollars a day and snorkle right off the beach. They also hand deliver drinks and food. Eden Beach is a five minute walk from your room. The Yatchclub pool was refreashing but lacked comfortable recliners.

First night was absolutely horrible!

We checked in late after an 11hr. day of traveling and the room was poorly lit and a little grungy appearing. The bed in the first bedroom was covered in little bugs so we slept in the other bedroom. There was scratching and noises coming from the ceiling, obviously there were some type of animal living in the ceiling. We called the front desk lady who said there was nothing she could do at the time. We even called other hotels but it was late and nothing else was available so we were stuck there. We were kept up all night by the noises of the animals in the ceiling and then it poured rain that night and the ceiling leaked with drops of water on my face while I was in bed! Awful! We weren't expecting much when we booked this hotel, but we were very upset that night. We were told we would not get a refund if we checked out so we demanded that something be done (can't believe we had to ask, after all our complaints the hotel should of offered a solution & at least try to rectify the situation). They moved us to another room which was a lot nicer. Just refinished, so more up to date, brighter and cleaner. No bugs, leaking ceilings, or critters (more of what we were expecting of this place). The rest of our stay here was fine without any other issues. Do not remember the room number of that first room but the second room was #9(which was a good room). We did not receive any type of compensation for that first night, but we were happy to have been moved to a better room.

Unser Zimmervormieter wollte das von uns gemietete und einzig freie apartement nicht räumen, hat es dann letzten Endes in einem erbärmlichen Zustand hinterlassen. Die Putzfrau, die dann Schadensbegrenzung betrieb, hätte in europäischen Hotels keine Chance auf Einstellung. Zudem kaputte Ventilatoren, kaputte Eingangstür, verdrecktes Bad und Moskitoplage. Die Anlage an sich ist sehr schön, müsste halt nur mal vernünftig in Stand gesetzt werden.

Quiet, furnished apartments.

This is a furnished apartment rather than a hotel. They provide clean sheets and towels upon arrival but no daily maid service or cute little soaps and shampoos but the price is right. There are kitchenettes with a stovetop, fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee-maker and these also have dishes and cooking utensils which are perfect to make your own meals. Comfortable sofa and plenty of cable TV channels in many languages provided a great place to be on quiet evenings in. There is a pool with chaise lounges and sunny or shady areas to settle in with a good book. You can choose air conditioning or ceiling fan to cool the room, I found the trade winds provided enough flow and never turned on the AC in early June. The location is ideal for those without a car as it sits walking distance between two beaches, Playa Lechi and the Eden Beach/Front Porch sites. Downtown and several good restaurants are also within walking distance. The restaurant onsite is not for every day but is lovely for a special occasion. This is a quiet, relaxing, place to stay with convenient facilities to rinse and store your dive gear, ample parking and a friendly, reliable staff. If you are not expecting a full-service resort hotel, you will not be disappointed.

Basic, Clean and Well-Equipped Furnished Apts.

If you go in knowing that you are getting a furnished apartment and not a hotel room, you will be amply satisfied. There are no luxury items on offer like soap and conditioner, so bring your own and bring some dish soap too! Everything is clean and the appliances work well. There are fluffy clean towels and the kitchen is well equipped but basic. The WiFi is the best I've ever had in the Caribbean! No need for tin foil or weird positions to get logged on. The pool is lovely and although it is not oceanfront, the sea is only a few minutes walk away and you cannot beat the snorkeling in Bonaire. If you want a basic, furnished room with WiFi and Cable TV and a pool…Yachtclub Apartments will suit your needs just fine.
