Staff was excellent at keeping food available and fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Only recommendation would be to upgrade room towels as ours were rather worn and not of good quality."

"Celebrated an anniversary and birthday while staying at the Waxenstein. An anniversary card and chocolates in our room and a special birthday breakfast table with champagne for my wife’s birthday. All unexpected but greatly appreciated. No doubt our future trip to Grainau will include a stay at the Waxenstein."

GOOD: - amazing breakfast - large rooms with balcony and mountain view - lot's of parking / garage and front of hotel - friendly stuff BAD: - if you like a coffee after breakfast the charges are extremely high (you get it from the same machine where you get your morning coffee for free) - charges in general for drinks are very high - they don't take American Express "
