"Absolutely beautiful! The cabin is stunning. So much room inside, gorgeous views. Outside is scenically stunning. So peaceful and quiet. Will most definitely be staying again. The walk up to the cabin is beautiful, inside and outside just stunning!"

"Hotel is new. Great to be out of the city as we were exploring the surrounding areas. Check-in staff were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Check out was likewise very easy. No problem getting a park underneath. We ate at the restaurant twice and rooftop bar - great views. Food was fantastic. The Wait Staff were coping with high volumes of people and doing as good a job as possible. Friendly, but couldn't answer questions, didn't know the menu, but what was truly awful was their managers....

"What a beautiful hotel, we had a fantastic stay. Exactly what you want in a lovely historic old hotel in a fantastic location in the Adelaide Hills. Beautifully restored, fireplaces galore, great welcoming bar and elegant dining room with fabulous wine room. Couldn’t fault the hotel, our room was so cosy and comfortable, gorgeous large marble bathroom and balcony (Tiers room). Good provisions provided for continental breakfast and snacks, great location, short drive up to Mount lofty lookout...

"Don’t be misled by the name and the pics - this place is right in town and just off a highway. No bucolic getaway this. Room was fine for our needs - but a bit tattered around the edges. We didn’t expect much for the price and were not disappointed."

"Hard to sleep throughout the noise due to something in the room or building being loud (my aircon was off so wasn't that like I thought it was). There is no on-site staff. I was sent to the wrong room upon checkin, my code wasn't working, so had to ring to find out why only to be told wrong room. No information provided on amentities where thry were located and the carpark situation unless I contacted the hotel. Pet rule is 1 per room, a couple had 2 with them, I don't like dogs (I didn't see...

"the Hotel is more like a motel with separate buildings behind the reception. However, design is modern, almost like a small resort, and great access to parking and to the main street of Hahndorf. The rooms are a good size and the bed is super comfy. One thing I am particular about is a good sized towel and their towels were bug and fluffy.. The rooms have a fridge, sink and tea/coffee which you dont really need given the great coffee in the area. Would totally stay here again"

"An absolute amazing place, so so cheap for the quality you get. One of the most comfortable hotels I've stayed in. A place like this in the UK would run you a fortune but it was so cheap here. I absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend."
