"Spacious accommodations with a kitchen and separate area with bed. It was in a good location and was clean and welcoming. There was laundry available in a separate area downstairs from the courtyard. This was easy to use but busy. Wifi worked well. Couple things to note though: Pull out couch is not comfortable and extra linens were not readily available so no extra duvet covers or pillow cases were stocked until after we made the request. "The stay blew away our expectations. We got a suite instead of a single room. The staff were probably the friendliest people in Copenhagen. The views of the canal out the window, the details paid to everything (the hidden fridge), the great water pressure. It's been years, maybe decades since a hotel impressed me as much as our stay at the Kanalhuset did."

"We really had a fantastic experience here. The location is perfect for all of the restaurant choices we made as well as the canal cruise we booked. We also appreciate shaving bike rentals onsite and the option to do just a few hours vs paying for a whole day. The hotel decor is quirky and fun. "I did not expect to have a room in what used to be an attic, this was not explained or shown in the time of choosing a room, there was no air conditioning, we had the noice of the street, and it was unbearable, the room had o height in one side for 8’ and about five in the window side, we have to bend over to reach the other side of the bad, this was not for me"

"Brilliant location, very clean. Large 3 bed condo. One family bathroom but that was fine for a family of 4 (2 were teenagers). We were there in a heat wave. Needed the fans to sleep as city street noise in the night meant having the windows open was a litttle loud when delivery trucks were moving about. Wouldn’t describe this as luxury, more like scandi-functional. We had to lug suitcases up several flights of stairs as only a few condos have elevator access so make sure request elevator access...

"Arrived early morning and was able to access our room immediately for a small upgrade. Despite it being classed as a superior room it was very compact but adequate for our one night stay. The position is excellent, a very short walk to all the main attractions of this lovely city. The weather was exceptionally hot so we struggled to sleep, there is no air conditioning, a Dyson fan is provided which helped but was surprisingly noisy. "Nice but basic hotel. No proper lock on the door, which I did not like, as a lone female traveller it meant a barely slept. The reception on 7th floor is very nice, the ground floor lobby is not. I was pleased it was only for one night. I would have had to have gone elsewhere if it was for a longer trip."
