"We had quite an amazing experience at Marvel Hills. Location very good for local access, complete privacy in the room, and a host who was quite exceptional. Freshly prepared local cuisine for breakfast, great chats with the host, he even arranged for a local spice seller to come and see us, so now we have enough, high quality, spices to last for a good while. "The bedroom was comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. The bathroom was extremely damp and mouldy. Overall abit of a tired hotel. Staff are nice but couldn’t help me much with my issues or questions. There is a nice pool but a large party playing loud music and drinking had been allowed to sit by the pool so it felt uncomfortable to use the pool when I arrived. I paid more for a “Mountain View” room but I was told that didn’t really exist so I wouldn’t advise booking that and paying more for it."
