"We had a lovely big apartment with two rooms and everything was very clean. The breakfast spread was very good. We ate in both the bar and the Salt restaurant. Both were good and the Salt restaurant had an unusual menu selection. The pool was also good although it would have been helpful if the swimming lessons had been in one area of the pool leaving the rest for guests. The hotel is well located for the Old Town and we went to a restaurant there one night. I would definitely stay there again."

"The staff were very helpful (and multilingual). The hotel is a clever construction that incorporates itself into the old castle remains. The 4 Pory Roku (4 Seasons of the Year) restaurant on site is excellent. The hotel is not far from the lovely Vistula riverbank and boulevard, and the minor Toruń Miasto train station, but the Toruń Główny (main station) is across the river outside of town, so it's best to hire a cab to get to the hotel. But the cobbled streets all around the hotel and old town are very walkable."

"The lady at the registration desk was pleasent and nicebut our room was across the street which was only acceptable by climbing several steep steps. We are both 80 yrs old with significant osteoarthritis and pulling the suitcases from the reception desk to the other side of the street and than lifting it to the top of the steep steps was not only extremely difficult but also very dangerous. No one offer the help or even ask if we need help. The dinner on the evening of our arrival was good but guide expensive. Breakfast was very good. On the day of our departure the lady at the reception desk order our taxi to the train station ,but again did not ask or offer any help with the suitcases."

"A really nice room with a modern feeling. Easy check in. There is a direct tram from the railway station as its a bit out of town, the hotel is in between stops so whichever stop you use you will need to walk about 5 minutes to the hotel in one direction or the other."

"Friendly welcome and efficient check in. Suite and hotel are immaculately clean. The style of the lounge and bedroom is different (mix of colours and patterns has the feel of 1974 :)). However all items were new and in perfect condition. Bathroom is modern, fully equipped (loo bidet, bath and separate shower ) It seems to be a conference /event venue. 15 to 20 minute stroll into the town centre. Would recommend I will return next time I am in Torun"

"On my last of three nights there was a party in the conference room behind reception. I went down to reception at 10pm (what I would expect to be considered “silent hours” in Poland) and said I could hear the bass coming up through the walls. The ladies were quite dismissive and said they’ll have the music turned down. It still hadn’t been turned by midnight and I had to go down to complain. By this time my cortisol levels were so high I had trouble sleeping even once the music had been switched off. Apart from this one incident everything else was fine, although the shower head and rail in the bathroom definitely need replacing."
