"Based on previous reviews, we must have been unlucky. We booked the hotel for a day trip to Gran Sasso, and we wanted a hotel with a swimming pool, a nice outdoor area, and a restaurant. We were therefore very disappointed to find the outdoor areas messy following a party or wedding. The pool wasn't really a pool, but more like a pond—and on top of that, it was full of insects and grass. As the lady at reception said, it’s not a swimming pool but more like a pond... "Great oasis near L'Aquila center. Nice clean rooms. Friendly staff."

"Very good experience in the middle of a rural and wine region in Abruzzo. Nice and cozy room with nice touches and family atmosphere. Very good breakfast served with care and love. Paula is great, she received us, made restaurant and visits reservations and took care of us. The entire time is great. The Ciavolich wine very good. Thanks Paula , Roberto and Fernando ."
