"Hotel was exactly as advertised. Immaculate, comfortable, lovely staff, breakfast was good (large selection but would have liked to see some new items daily), great location- concierge services top notch- were able to help with all sorts of reservations and planning. Honestly great stay!!

"We had a lovely time! Got in late and checked in the room before our reservation at the restaurant that the concierge made for us. Pool was clean and comfortable, and the balcony was beautiful with a bay view. The area was fantastic, and the front desk had towels for us and we had great dinners from their recommendations. Room was quaint but the AC blew hard and was comfortable enough. Breakfasts were good, and the staff was very attentive. The bar makes a great aperitivo."

We specifically searched for a boutique hotel and selected Grand Hotel Smeraldo Beach expecting that type of experience. Unfortunately, it did not feel like a boutique hotel to us. It felt more like a well-maintained, older traditional resort. Although it has good amenities, attractive grounds, and convenient beach access, it lacked the intimate, stylish, and distinctive atmosphere we were looking for.
