"Clean room and helpful staff. 15 minute walk to Notre Dame."

"Beautiful apartment newly redone and well equipped. Comfortable bed, two smart tvs a Sonos system and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Very quiet at night. A little out of the touristy areas (which is good) but close by to everything in the Marais and Notre Dame, the Louvre etc. all walkable. Lots of good restaurants and close to good shopping. We will definitely be back. "

"Very good location. The room was very small. One cannot enter the bed from the right side but has to crawl from the end of the bed. The decor is very beautiful but personally I would have chosen a chair over an extended bar with cocktail mixing facility. It would have been nice if we had been informed that the control panel for the Aircon is just for show and that we needed to ring reception to have the temperature changed. "Staff were lovely and helpful, answered any questions we had. They made the trip easy for us by booking airport transfers, they went through the amenities with us. We were so thankful for the free cold water tap they provide in the 'living room', it was so good to have after a long day of exploring, eating and drinking. The room was very good, plenty of space for 2 and decorated nicely and very clean. It was amazing value for money - we weren't expecting such a nice place for the amount we paid!...

"During my stay at Hotel Solly Paris I was met with a reservation that could not be located upon arrival, a bug infestation that was addressed by sending a can of spray in the elevator and leaving me to manage it alone, and an attempted charge of over 800 euros on a 348 euro agreed rate — which triggered a fraud flag on my bank account and cut off my access to funds at a moment when I needed them most. "Found that locker storage was all used when we were counting on it. Although the washer/dryer looked updated, it did not dry well at all compared to what we were used to. It would take 3 hours for a small load and it still would not be dry. Some instructions would have been nice. Looked up on internet and that wasn’t helpful enough. "The air conditioning in our suite was completely inadequate, it was over 30c in our suite despite “having ac”. The worst was the staff. They acknowledged my first email by ensuring that we knew how to use our AC etc. subsequent emails asking for help was not answered at all. Even providing some fans would have gone a long way but they completely ignored our emails. Horrendous support."

Some areas like the entrance to the room and the bathroom were very tight spaces, but manageable and well worth it for the price and location. "Very clean on arrival. Well equipped if you want to self cater, hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine. Location good, metro and buses within 250 metres, 20 minutes walk to Louvre. Restaurants close by.We found Bistrot Dubillot good food, reasonable prices for two courses and bottle of house wine for two people. We had studio with terrace, useful for morning coffee etc."

It was beautifully decorated, and we had excellent service by the receptionist named Oćeane, who went above and beyond to help serve our needs. She assisted with public transport, cab rides and also made great restaurant recommendations!
