"We had a great stay at Hotel Rey Alfonso X. The location was perfect, right next to the historic old town and only a few minutes from the cathedral. The hotel is modern, very clean and our room was spacious with a separate sitting area plus both a shower and a bath. We knew it wouldn’t have a view, but we traded the extra space happily for a view. The staff were fantastic and arranged both an early check in and a late check out. Reception was very friendly and even greeted us by name. Housekeeping also did a great job. The mattress was a bit firm, but the team added a topper as soon as we asked, which helped a lot. Overall a very pleasant stay and we would happily return."
