This was an outstanding experience. The lodge has a stunning location perched on a cliff overlooking the river below. Our room was utterly delightful, Angelo’s cooking amazing and Pemba’s game drives literally stunning. Great , great game viewing.

The room was very clean and the grounds were stunning. The old colonial style in the bar and restaurant with all of the history attached to it are characterful. The staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms are a little tired in places but that does not detract from the ambiance.
