"Loved the architecture. The host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Location was perfect for the concert we went too. Within walking distance of the farmers market if you are going on a weekend. Will definitely stay again"

"The breakfast and service were great. The house and rooms were clean.I would have liked more than one bottle of water per person for a two night stay. The hot tea,coffee and cookies were nice but there weren’t mugs to use."

"We had an amazing stay at Mont Rest! Hearing the history from Chris (the owner) was an added treat! So crazy to see how she saved the property not once, but twice! The staff was exceptional. The breakfast was incredible. I loved that there wasn't a huge push to get people checked out. Our room was lovely and well appointed! We cannot wait to schedule another long weekend in Bellevue!"

"The mansion is gorgeous and breakfast was above and beyond. It’s quite a few stairs if you’re walking to Main Street but that was part of the appeal. It’s a must try!"

"The house is beautiful. Simon was extremely communicative and we were able to check in and out without incident. We were unable to stay for breakfast but it smelled wonderful. The views were beautiful and it felt very comfortable and safe. Everyone should experience this beautiful bed and breakfast"

"Brian and David are the best friendliest host , they made us feel at home and loved their hospitality. They have maintained this property beautifully till the last corner of the home. We loved our room from hand painted walls to the canopy bed, with a view - brought out the southern charm of the property. The breakfast in a pretty English setup was my favorite. Thank you for serving us with delicious breakfast . We would love to revisit the next time we are in Galena!! "
