"The room was very clean and i was very happy with it. I wasnt aware that there was a fire there in Oct. I was expecting a pool, laundry room and an ice machine. My granddaughter was playing in a softball tournament and we especially needed the laundry room and ice machine. I think that there shiuld have been a temporary note added to the Motel 6 (Abbeville, LA) website stating that those amenities ARE NOT AVAILABLE at this time. "Being from a big city it’s nice to have a place to go to unplug from all the crazy city life. Top off everything the staff is very friendly and attentive "

"Great location close to the University, Cathedral and downtown. Older (sturdier) bath fixtures, etc., but very quiet and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Fresh buns on the breakfast bar. We've stayed there three times and always enjoy it."
