"Das Personal war sehr sehr freundlich. Es ist eine sehr schöne Anlage. Das Zimmer war sauber und angenehm, allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Speisen im Restaurant waren sehr lecker, allerdings ist die Auswahl und Kreativität etwas gering. Dies kann aber auch der Reisezeit in der absoluten Nebensaison geschuldet sein. Auch ist die Weinauswahl sehr übersichtlich. Zusammengefasst kann man sagen, Preis/Leistung top, man könnte sagen es wäre ein sehr gutes 4-Sterne Hotel. Aus unserer Sicht...

"hotel is a bit remote from the towns, but sits right next to the cliffs and a beach. the trail starts right at the cliff. free parking onsite, but you need to drag your luggage’s over stone roads, or ask for help of staff to drive a kart. resort is nicely laid out and breakfast is great. one issue is the power was out for one night due to the coastal weather, and no staff was at the reception for the night. luckily internet and heating was still available."

"The whole place is amazing! We had a wonderful view of the water from the balcony space off our room, which was right next to the front desk. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful. We ordered the breakfast basket both mornings and loved the food and thermos of coffee. It's an easy walk to town and beaches. We had no car and it was a short Bolt ride in from the train station. I highly recommend Castelo Guest House!"
