"Natural & Warm We really enjoyed our stay at the Microtel in Plattsburgh. It’s in a great location and was perfect for our family of three, especially for a short stay while passing through the area. The hotel is close to everything we needed, including Target, Walmart, and Texas Roadhouse, which made things very convenient. "This is a gem of an overnight, a beautiful old inn on grounds fronting Lake Champlain in a grove of ancient white cedars. It lies in a very rural area but in its own right is an elegant place with spacious rooms. There is a golf course very nearby. If you are needing a quiet, refreshing break on the way north towards Canada in upstate New York, this is a great choice."

"STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL! The check in process was super easy, and the staff were very nice. As we were walking to the room we started to have some concerns. Hallways were very dirty, and clearly haven’t been cleaned or maintained in a while. The room itself was filthy, the bed had black hairs all over the duvet cover, possibly dog hair or some mans back hair.
