"Staff was super friendly. Loved the free coffee and tea in the morning, Parking in and around the area was fine. The only downfall was the temp in the room. They have a swamp cooler, which is probably pretty normal for Silverton’s accommodations. I’m sure not very many buildings are air-conditioned in this town but was a little warm at night. It did cool off but took a smidge of time. Delightful place."

"This is a 1898 hotel in the San Juan mountains old mining country. Most unique hotel we have ever stayed in the US, England, Canada, the Caribbean and Mexico. All the bedrooms represent the turn of the century with meticulous care by the owners Matt and his wife. Expect a hearty and warm welcome by Matt when you arrive. This is an excellent choice for your lodging in a wonderful hotel and town."

"The owners were super nice and the building had tons of character. I had to take away stars because the primary reasons I booked at this location was that the property information listed breakfast being included and laundry facilities as a convenience. The owner said they haven't provided breakfast in quite a long time and the laundry facility was a laundromat across the street."

"This is a really funky, quaint historic hotel. Great location, you can walk all over Silverton and to the shops and restaurants. My son and I stayed on our way through to our home in Northern Colorado. We were in the two bedroom room. The beds were super comfortable and we slept really well. Our main complaint was that we couldn't see in the bathroom, there was one little light by the mirror. There was another small wall light by the shower, but it had no bulb in it - so the shower was quite...
