"Best place to stay in Lakeview"

"This was a last minute stay due to wildfire closures. It was fine, but not ooh-aah. We had to ask for the Wi-Fi code and it was somewhat sluggish. We also had to ask for extra toilet paper. The staff was very nice but not necessarily proactive. The room was clean and had a very cute retro fridge. Our biggest concern was the steps leading upstairs to the back rooms. The top flight was pretty precarious. The steps were uneven in width and pretty close together, so you really had to pay attention...

"My husband says “good place to rest my head on a hunting trip.” The front desk was really kind and stayed late to greet him even though he was coming in after reception hours. Clean. No frills. Would stay again."

"Hotel was hard to find, no lights on signage or in lobby building. At checkin the card machine was broken. No explanation of amenities, hot spring pool location (again with no lights) and was not clean. Room had broken lights, FIRM mattress and broken shower towel rack. Mold growing in cracks of shower curtain. This place has charm, but needs a little work in the hospitality department."
