"I have no idea how the reviews for this hotel is accurate. My opinion they were paid for. When arriving around 11:00 pm the front desk the gentleman was very friendly. That is the only thing I say that is good. Elevator wasn’t working, dirty walls and missing tiles on floors, When we arrived to our room there was a big square plastic container under the air conditioner. "My son and I went to Lake Dallas for a wedding and stayed at the, " Lake Dallas Guest Trottage ". The home was very clean and welcoming. There were many amenities provided for our comfort. Immediately, upon our arrival, there was communication from the owners to let us know how they could be reached if we needed anything. There are a few restaurants close by and an Albertsons within a couple of miles. I recommend this cozy little cottage by the lake."

"The hotel was near everything we needed from Walmart, to Buccees and even Ikea. The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel was extremely clean and breakfast has plenty of options. Would definitely stay there again."
