"We stayed at Rancho Bernardo Inn for a 4th of July package and overall it didn’t meet expectations. The property looks very upscale online, but in reality it feels more like an older condo-style resort with dated rooms. Our room had a few issues patio lights didn’t work, the shower handle was loose, and there was no microwave with a very small fridge. The rooms could definitely use updating. "The room was horrendous, worst stay ever . People were trying to get in our room in the morning non stop for a hour , the bed doesn’t have the right bed frame and was noisy , the bathroom looked like i was at a bar . Never again . Look at reviews before staying . They are right about the place ."

"This is in a terrible location with a large homeless population and a lot of drug usage. The door didn’t fully seal closed, the room was dirty, the beds were terrible, but mostly we just did not feel safe or feel that our vehicle was safe while parked overnight. Do NOT bring your family here."

How ever it was a little small and we had to keep the bedroom doors open because there's only ac in the living room. Other than that it was a cool place. I would go back. They don't charge for parking, that's a big plus in SD."

"It’s very clean… but some equipment is broken or run-down. They try to save on absolutely everything, so tiny soap bars, no shower gel etc. tv remote is handed out during check-in… overall not a bad place if you have to crash for the night, but certainly not a place to stay for vacation."
