"The area was beautiful and quiet and full of nature. The accomodation (& beds) was modern, warm, comfortable & had everything we needed. Communication was friendly & useful for how to get there & local dining options (which was also brilliant, friendly and delicious.) They had kindly started the fireplace before we arrived. I’d stay here again happily. "

"The room description had limited wifi. I found out in a subsequent email that there is no wifi. Fortunately I have a hot spot. Great location close to town and restaurants. Room was functional. An improvement is the heating was inadequate. Room was so cold at night. The bed was super comfortable. It has electric heat. Sleep was great "

"Our stay started off with a warm welcome at check in from John and his trusty sidekick Rex. To our surprise we were given an amazing hamper of locally sourced essentials and treats. Things only got better from there. The cottage was extremely well equipped and very comfortable, it felt like a home away from home. "Great location and the views of the Hazards were great. Bed was comfie with great linen but we felt the house needed a ‘good’ clean, it wasn’t dirty but could go up the next level. We didn’t use the barbecue but that was left dirty. The agent was great to deal with and gave us some great tips. Wine Bay cruise was fantastic."

"The house has an absolutely stunning view. Complete amenities provided by the host: foods, wines, kitchenwares, fireplace, woods, extra blankets...ETC. Would highly recommended. But since it's not in town, you will have to be able to cook while you stay here. Supermarket nearby is about 10-15 mins drives, with limited supply."

"We really enjoyed our 2 nights at Le Shack. Photos make the property look a bit larger than it is, but it's still very comfortable and had the feel of a smart beach house with lots of modern facilities. An easy stroll down to view the sunset over the Hazards and dinner at Geographe"

"Such a beautiful place stay. Very central to restaurants, tourist activities and The Freycinet National Park. The studio is very well equipped. The communications prior to our visit was excellent. Would stay again."

"Well stocked and equipped kitchen. Excellent! Only problem was that the kitchen was on the 2nd floor and hence no so convenient for the elderlies in my group. Most unfortunate that the penguins were gone. Pity."
