"We went to Harrah’s for a show, we weren’t there for any other reason. We arrived, had dinner, and then went to the show. After the show we spent the night at the hotel. We chose the accommodation due to the show being in the same hotel.
Check in was smooth and the staff was extremely helpful, especially since we were not familiar with anything. Helped pull up our show tickets gave good instruction on locations (easy to get lost). We utilized an ADA room as my wife needs accommodations for a power chair. Room was great and easy to get around in.
The Bad:
The place smells like an ashtray, no amount of deodorizers can help, and they try, but the masking does not help. The food choices are limited, the fancy buffets are history.
We tried Guy Fieri’s Chicken Guy. Chicken was dry, like it had been cooked in the morning and then kept warm. There is a Gordon Ramsy’s Kitchen and a Ruth’s Chris, but with fast food being $70 for 2, can’t imagine what that would be.
The room was $32 a night on Hotels.com. Resort fee’s $72 including parking. I’m not complaining about the cost, but quit hiding things as fees, just charge up front what the real cost are going to be. That should all be the cost of the room, instead of playing games and hiding costs as fees. I don’t like the fee game.
You get 2 wifi access’s with the room, need more it’s going to cost you. Use anything in the room it’s going to cost you.
Bottom line: Employees are great, the resort not so much."
