"To be frank, we were skeptical pulling into Estherville about how nice the hotel might be. We were very pleasantly surprised at how updated and clean the hotel is. Very nice pool and hot tub, breakfast was on the simpler side but did not disappoint. Staff was polite and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"The staff was very welcoming and available. We enjoyed a drink at the bar later in the evening. The bartender ensured we were happy with our drinks! The breakfast room was a long way from our room and there was a problem with the decaf coffee - a minor inconvenience. The pool was even further away but, we ended up with no extra time to swim anyway. Our rooms were comfortable and clean."

"My room was super clean. For an older motel it was painted and fresh and new looking and I live parking right in front of my door. The property had baskets of flowers at each door which were stunning. A wonderful touch and the pricing was extremely good considering being the the lakes area of NW Iowa. Will definitely recommend to others and stay again when I'm in the area."

"Wifi and television did not connect so we were unable to work on our computers or even watch local channels. Room was poorly lit and smelled stale. Bathroom is cramped with poor venting and extremely small shower stall. Walls are extremely thin; can hear people clearly in the hall and next door. Overall was a bed to sleep in and nothing more."

"I used to stay in Jackson when traveling for business, however I could not take the Hotels in that town, so Picked Worthington instead. Was 100 percent a good decision. Way nicer hotel, the food at breakfast was good, room was clean , staff was friendly. Much better choice than anywhere in Jackson to stay. "A few items—Ice machine wouldn’t shut off (for another guest— they asked me for help— I suggested they contact front desk, smoke detectors didn’t appear to have batteries, lobby was very cluttered and no coffee or continental breakfast available, pool area (closed) looked like someone’s personal garden, key drop was goofy—a tin bucket screwed into the wall outside the front door. "The resort itself was ok. The weather was off and on with rain. The afternoon that we checked in was beautiful, so we were terribly disappointed to find the outdoor water park closed. The next day, they were open, but the weather was cool and it rained off and on. Just not a great experience. We had a suite next to us with children that were screamers. Our room was clean, but the armoire was old and rattled when we walked around. The shower was noisy. Overall, they simply need to update and fix...
