"Property is very nice and renovated, staff is helpful and also very nice. View from lakeside patio is amazing. Only reason for four stars is a few improvements could make a big difference, like coffee in the rooms.(it was available for free in the lobby), and bar soap in the bathrooms. There is very little room on the bathroom sink to put toiletries, but the bathrooms are clean and renovated and showers are good. We had a nice stay and would visit again."

"All was actually good. However I really needed to have a jetted tub for medical reasons. On the Expedia website this is actually an inaccurate listing for the Deluxe Double Room. This room doesn't have a jetted tub."

"The location of the hotel is perfect for walking to restaurants or just taking a stroll through downtown. Our room was clean and very well decorated. While having a waterfall shower was great, there was only a partial glass wall and no shower door, so naturally when you shower there for is getting extremely wet. I would recommend bringing your own snacks, because the snacks they provide in the room are very pricy. The staff was super friendly!!"

"Very clean and well maintained. The TV was about 32 inches which isnt a big deal but its nice to watch TV in your room at night. The "beach towels" are tiny so take your own. Continental breakfast is "chilled food" so toast cereal yogurt. Kids in the adult pool most of the time. But overall for the price it was worth it."

"Had a little trouble checking in because we booked third party and didn’t get the instruction text. However we were next door to a very loud dog and the staff went above and beyond to allow us access to another room away from the dog if it was still barking at bedtime. Luckily it was not and quieted down when the people came back from dinner. But the offer was very appreciated. I also liked having 3 separate beds when traveling with teenagers. Thank you!"

"My husband and I came for our anniversary weekend. We got married at Cedar Point, but wanted to find some other places and things to do in the area. Anchor was a cute little place. When we first pulled in, the first thing I noticed were the beautiful (and real) flowers outside of each room. The property appears very nicely kept. "Very comfortable beds and rooms were clean. Very nice staff and breakfast was good. Eggs, sausage, cereal, bagels. Waffles. Fruit. Various flavored water, juice and good coffee. Great for the price."
