"I went in August so before leaf people come to VT. It was a relaxing weekend, where I hiked, read a book, ate cider donuts, and enjoyed local beers. Breakfast was tasty. Would recommend you stay and enjoy the VT hospitality."

Nice the fireplace works for both bathroom and main room. A nice breakfast included only between 8am and 9:30pm. Can also purchase wine, beer and champagne. Toboggan and snowshoes with poles free to use. You are best driving to a free shuttle or bus as the property is off the main road. Nice area outside room for summer use,...

"Bud was very hospitable and overall great! Externally, very aesthetic and inviting. The interior can definitely use some TLC, but it really also depends on your expectations. It’s a country house so don’t expect anything lavish or over the top. Another reviewer wrote that it’s like staying at grandma’s. Couldn’t agree more. If you like trendy and fancy, this is not the place. If you like rustic, quiet and low key- this will do the job. We enjoyed our stay. "
