"Durch hohe Preise vom Flughafen weggetrieben war das Hotel eine idyllische Überraschung. Die Zimmer sind zwar sehr einfach gehalten aber sehr sauber. Das indische Restaurant mischt auf interessante Weise die historische Mittelalter-Burg-Location mit der Globalisierung von heute. Das Essen war fantastisch. "

"Für uns Pärchen in den sechzigern als Zwischenübernachtung hervorragend. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war gut und ausreichend. Die Küche zum Abendessen war super (Spinatknödel mit br. Butter, Parmesan und Wildkräutersalat) einfach lecker."

"Location, unparalleled! The room was clean and comfortable, even with a small balcony where we shared wine and cheese after a 6 mile walking day. Staff accommodating, we arrived early by train and by luck our room was ready. As is always the case in these older guest houses the layout is not cookie cutter. We actually had a small dining table and chairs, small fridge (not sure all rooms do), and a comfortable bath. The town was lovely / I am so glad we came."

"Das Frühstück war zwar im Preis inbegriffen, die Auswahl war jedoch sehr schwach – hier könnte man sich definitiv mehr Mühe geben. Das Personal war praktisch kaum sichtbar. Abgesehen davon war alles in Ordnung. Das Familienzimmer war angenehm und bot ausreichend Platz für 4 Personen."

"Renovierte Zimmer sind nicht renoviert, sondern nur teilweise bis gar nicht (ausgebrochene Türrahmen...). Total überteuert für diesen Zustand. Hotel lebt wohl im wesentlichen von übergebührlich engagierten und freundlichen Mitarbeitern, die bemüht sind Kundenbeschwerden zu handeln. Mitarbeiter wären in besser geführten Hotels besser aufgehoben. "

"Good hotel as the name says it. The rooms are small and there is nothing inside the room (like kettle, coffee machine, fridge, or bottle of water) if one looks for such complimentary services. There is a garage underneath the hotel. Restaurants and markets nearby."

The main problem was the lack of proper kitchen equipment. There were not enough pots and pans provided, which made it difficult to cook meals during the stay. "This was a very very good and affordable hotel not too far from the airport München. Easy free parking, comfortable beds, a good restaurant for dinner in the basement, free Wi-Fi, hair dryer, extra treatments, nice staff. We didn’t stay for breakfast because of an early flight, but from what we have experienced, this restaurant makes everything to keep the guests happy. Much recommended."
